Our range of Design Pine timber products combines quality and durability to provide an eco-friendly, easy-to-use building solution for builders, landscapers and contractors.
Choose from a range of pre-primed treated structural and decorative pine boards suitable for a variety of exterior above-ground applications. Typical examples include pergolas, verandas, handrails, privacy screens, feature profiles, facia, barge boards, carports and weather boards.
Primed and protected
Design Pine products have been coated with a revolutionary primer that both offers UV protection and makes them ready for direct application of quality solvent-based or acrylic finishing coats. This primer is compatible with all Australian topcoats. It also includes a moisture-managed system that helps protect the cladding from damp and improves the overall water and humidity resistance of the timber.
Design Pine products have also been impregnated with an organically based preservative that offers above-ground protection against rot, decay and attack from wood boring insects and fungi. This preservative is free of heavy metal and excess solvents, so you can safely use Design Pine in high-contact areas.
What's more, Design Pine is covered by a limited 25-year durability guarantee.
A sustainable and highly durable timber
Design Pine is made from environmentally friendly, sustainable plantation grown Radiata pine. Importantly, all the natural defects that can cause the natural timber to bow or twist have been removed in the manufacturing process. This also reduces the risk of resin bleed and other impurities coming to the surface.
Our Design Pine timber cladding products are all finger jointed and/or laminated for increased dimensional stability in exterior applications. This provides you with reliable
engineered timber cladding for many years to come.
